Depending on your flight arrival in Entebbe International Airport in Kampala, or should you already be staying the night before in Kampala, we can set out as early as you are able to, at a time that is convenient for you. However, we should take note that the travel to Murchison will take about 4 to 5 hours. If we leave early morning, there will be a good chance for us to have an afternoon picnic at the top of the falls. The later we depart, the later we arrive. Our drive will be toward the north-west route via Masindi town where we can have lunch. We will pass by the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary along the way. The sanctuary has 15 resident southern white rhinos and it is the only place in Uganda where there are still wild Rhinos. Then, later in the evening, after our quick visit to the falls, we can check in at our accommodation to get some dinner, good sleep and relaxation for the night.

GAME DRIVE
This activity will entail us to start very early in the day. So, you should take a cup of tea or coffee to warm yourself up. We shall leave for the ferry crossing to the north bank by 0630H. Don’t worry as full breakfast will be served as we return to our accommodation after the game drive activity. The early morning start will give us the opportunity to see predators returning to their hideouts. This will also showcase for us, animals like Jackson’s Hartebeests, lions, herds of buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffe, and waterbuck elephants, among others. We will pass between the Victoria and Albert Niles to the Nile-Lake Albert Delta, this is part of the Buligi game tracks. This adventure will take about 4 hours. It will finish at about 1100H, then head back to our accommodation to take some rest, and lunch before starting with the next activity in today’s itinerary.

BOAT TRIP
We will take a scenic boat ride along the Victoria Nile, which is part of the catchment of water under the falls. From this view, the falls look very majestic. This also where we can have close encounters with basking Hippos by the Nile bank, and the chance to see the huge Nile crocodiles. This area is also a haven not only for birdwatchers but for non-birdwatchers alike since there are about 450 species of birds in the vicinity. This activity will take about 3 hours.

After the boat trip, we return to our accommodation to freshen up and get ready for a special barbeque dinner where there will be storytelling of different folklores by the camp fire.
