Your journey begins early in the morning as we depart from Kampala or Entebbe, heading north through the lush countryside towards Murchison Falls National Park.

On the way, you’ll make a special stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see wild rhinos up close. Enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience on foot—a rare chance to witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

After rhino tracking, continue your scenic drive with a stop for lunch en route. As you approach the park, be prepared for glimpses of Uganda’s stunning savannah and possibly a few early sightings of wildlife.

Arrive at your luxury lodge inside or near the park in the evening. Settle in, enjoy a delicious dinner, and relax as you prepare for the adventures of Day 2.

🌄 Morning Game Drive

Set off on a sunrise game drive across the savannah plains in the northern sector of the park, where wildlife is most active. Keep your eyes peeled for:

• Lions, leopards, and hyenas on the hunt
• Majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, herds of buffalo, and countless antelope species
• A variety of birds, including hornbills, eagles, and secretary birds

Your guide will share fascinating insights about the animals, the park's ecosystem, and the surrounding landscapes.

🛶 Afternoon Boat Safari on the Nile

After lunch and some relaxation at the lodge, head out for a scenic boat cruise along the Victoria Nile. This relaxing yet exhilarating ride takes you to the base of the mighty Murchison Falls, offering:

• Close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the riverbanks
• A chance to spot rare bird species like the shoebill stork
• Fantastic photo opportunities of the waterfall’s powerful plunge through the gorge

🥾 Optional: Hike to the Top of the Falls

For those feeling adventurous, you can take a guided hike to the top of Murchison Falls. The view is jaw-dropping — watch as the Nile River squeezes through a 7-meter gorge and crashes 45 meters below.

Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening under the stars.

Enjoy a relaxed morning in the wild — savor your breakfast with a view, listening to the tranquil sounds of the park one last time.

Before departure, you may choose to take a guided nature walk around the lodge or nearby forest trails. This is a peaceful way to connect with the environment and spot smaller wildlife and bird species up close.
Afterward, check out and begin your scenic return journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, with a stop for lunch en route and opportunities to take in the rural beauty of Uganda one more time.
